Member Categories & Eligibility Requirements

MWFA's membership categories reflect the different roles companies play within the fastener industry. Distributor, Manufacturer/Supplier, and Manufacturer Representative Members receive full membership benefits, including voting privileges and eligibility to hold office.

Distributor
Companies primarily engaged in the distribution of fasteners and related products.

Manufacturer/Supplier
Companies primarily engaged in the manufacturing, secondary processing, importing, or supplying of fasteners or related products to distributors and the fastener industry.

Manufacturer Representative
Firms that represent manufacturers of fasteners or related products.

Associate
Companies that do not qualify for the Distributor, Manufacturer/Supplier, or Manufacturer Representative categories may be considered for Associate Membership. Associate Members receive most membership benefits but do not have voting privileges and are not eligible to hold office.

 

All members agree to abide by the Association’s by-laws and to actively participate in MWFA activities. New members are subject to approval by the MWFA Board of Directors.
